And the one that has practiced is Xavier Sua Filo. Yes, he has gotten better, but still. He was the weakest of all the starters last year.

He's out the year BECAUSE of the surgery. My guess is that the injury was so severe that he could have played later in the season but re-injury risk was high. So instead they decided to have the surgery and lose the entire year, as he recovers from surgery, BUT his chances of this specific re-injury are much lower.

    Ryan Wendell C 30 NE TBD - - - -
    Lyle Sendlein C 32 ARI TBD - - - -
    Trevor Robinson C 26 SD TBD - - - -
    Will Montgomery C 33 CHI TBD - - - -
    Doug Legursky C 30 PIT TBD - - - -
    James Stone C 24 ATL TBD - - - -
    Darren Keyton C 26 DET TBD - - - -
    J.D. Walton C 29 SD TBD - - - -
    Sam Brenner C 26 DEN TBD - - - -
Braxston Cave C 27 DET TBD

Doug Legursky could be an option. Sendlein was really good when he was healthy but he's been injured and he's older.

Local boy Cody Wallace in PIT will be a FA next year, maybe you could swing a trade.

Seth Payne said on 610 this morning that he's not ready to hit the panic button on the offensive line yet. I wonder what it is about the current state of the line that makes his feel comfortable about it. I like to think that Seth knows what he's talking about, but the more I think about what we may have to trot out there in a few weeks, it makes me want xanax.

We'll see on sunday. Arizonas front 7 is no slouch and we get a full half to see how our line holds up or if we can get any push at all. :(

Martin was a 2nd rounder but haven't had much luck there either. Tossing a 7th for Stork would have been nice insurance but I'm cautiously optimistic with Mancz. More concerned about depth and RT at this point.

He's out because his ankle was so unstable that it required surgery to install hardware to stabilize it.

    In the 2nd round.

You guys should check this team out if you want to see a good offensive line.

Not exactly true. He had a season ending knee injury in 2013, but it was 11 games into the season when it happened. He played all games in 2014 and 2015.

Man that's rough news. Mancz and Bergstrom are enough to bring on the shots of bleach but hopefully they'll be decent enough or the Texans will pick someone up better on the pile once cuts happen.

Good. They'll need it since their defense can't stop anybody.

I would imagine his employment with 610 plays a role.

Sure they have a good O line, but they don't have much else going for them and that's why they are and have been the junior varsity Texas team.

Yeah, it's sitting right about 0.0025% now.

They have to have a good offensive line because their starting quarterback is made of glass, and their defense couldn't stop a high school team from scoring.
