You are so laughable the players clearly didn't embarrass themselves they made a valid point which the NFL owners and trump see that all the players wanted was to bring awareness to the injustices that have been taking place across the country.You have on many occasions like to state that these injustices have no validity when the videos show differently.

Overlooking that though, you might be conflating 2 different things. The initial "protest" was intended to disrespect the country due to a black criminal armed with a stolen gun getting shot by a black police officer. Then later a larger group of players did the same thing just to show they were upset about Donald Trump. What I'm talking about is the initial "protest".

Either way, the fans of the NFL got tired of all of the ridiculous BS being pulled by the players and stopped watching so the NFL had to step in and try to save the league from the players.

 

Knowing how you always strive for the truth and facts, why haven’t you changed the title yet? The NFL will NOT be fining players who protest during the anthem.

 

Most employees aren't compelled to fake patriotism by standing for an anthem at work.

Conservatives saying we must stand for the flag as a representation of the great USA and its constitution is exactly not honoring the flag and the constitution.

 

But there is no injustice. A basic inability to listen and instead acts their outrage because not only isn’t there injustice, to many of these trumpster, they should be appreciative they aren’t being kicked out.. wait, no, they should be kicked out.

 

I dont understand why people are upset at the players.

More importantly I dont understand why the players keep doing it. The purpose for kneeling has been lost in the pointless rage from both sides. If players are doing this to protest, then perhaps they should do more outside the game than to antagonize those who are offended . This has become a pointless gesture that only has served to divide than to bring good. It's on par with saying 'thoughts and prayers' when there are tragedies like mass shootings. Words without actions are meaningless. This is what this national anthem soap opera drama has become.

 

I'd say the $89,000,000 the NFL has committed to various organizations makes this more than pointless.
