Trump is a busy man(done more in a year and a half than Obama in eight) and has more important things to do, really no big deal.

Tell us about it. Considering how much TV he gets in each day along with his diet cokes and cheeseburgers, it is truly remarkable all the things that the Trump has done.

How are you foolish enough to not realize that “disrespecting the office and institution” is only applicable if the occasion was also about the office/institution being shown respect by the player’s presence, and not just the other way around? The entire thing is inherently politicized from the outset if that’s the expectation.

Believing Trump to be a profoundly contemptible person suffices as a valid reason not to go, and that’s not a political reason either because there are people from every party as well as independents who rightly see Trump in that way.

I think we can just leave it at "you don't get it" and we can move on. I'm simply not expecting any more than that from you. I wouldn't expect a toddler to be able to change an alternator on a car, I won't expect you to understand the concepts related to this conversation. It's just how it is.

Trump has tweeted about the national anthem eight times more than Puerto Rico.

That he doesn't use twitter as much as the Trump?? Maybe that is because Obama knew what it took to act presidential; the trump can't act presidential because that would force a fundamental change in his personality which he is incapable of doing.

im more concerned about who is president now and back to your original point, our current president cant be that busy if he has time to tweet about nfl players 14 times in 2 days.

but regarding obama, if you want to compare his twitter habits to trump we can do that - obama is clearly more emotionally and mentally stable than trump. obama clearly knows how to not conduct himself like a scorned 13 year old girl.

Can he also include the World Series winner for MLB, the national champions in football, basketball (both men and women's), and baseball, as well as the national champs for cornhole!

Heck, he didn't even bother to invite the WNBA champs... not that they would have gone and found a much better use of their time:

That is so laughable you can't really believe that. This fool would rather tweet about NFL player not standing and making dumb statement about Texans sight seeing during Harvey he needs to be about America's business and get a clue.

Not surprising, a CBS poll in September found that 84% believe players have a right to protect (though 49% wanted a different form of protest). This new poll seems to suggest growing support for protesting on the field.

Majority of voters say NFL players kneeling is not unpatriotic
