What a great ending! Very Happy for Matthew Stafford who I think has been very under rated since he was on all those crappy Lions' teams. Also very touching moment between OBJ and Deebo Samuel. For a player that's been accused of being self-absorbed and a prima donna good to see him consoling his opponent.
I like Goff alot since he was a CAL grad but Stafford is a better QB. He can create more and is tougher than Goff. Stafford just hasn't gotten attention since he's been stuck in Detroit.
Just now checking the KC-CIN score and one hour behind the SF-LA game.... so I'm avoiding any knowledge of the late game's progress/outcome, Wow..... Bengals won that b**** !!! Don't know details but CIN looked a blowout candidate early. Sad too because Texans have never reached an AFC Championship much the SB.... smh Joe Burrow FTW !!!
Finally reading back through all the posts today in this thread. Oh ye of little faith in Jeaux ****ing Burreaux. Bengals defense was incredible, but when he was given a chance I just knew he was coming through. Jamarr Chase is alright at football. 49ers...talk about giving a game away. Whew... What crimes did Mahomes' wife commit today in post-game?
Brady vs Stafford.... One guy always wins vs a guy who always loses Roles flipped Sports will always be the greatest reality TV Mahomes lost too... wow
Rams 27 Bengals 16 The Bengals offense is still stuttering, and the Rams defense is electric. Don't see the Bengals hanging around although the league would be better served if Burrow could win this. He's a little bit more rock and roll.
I am utterly shocked that not a single person is calling out Patrick Mahomes for his implosion act in the final minute of the 2nd qtr, as well as the whole 2nd half. He cost his team of another superbowl run. The kid got too greedy and celebrated too early and didn't know what hit him in the 2nd half. He tried to go for a touchdown right before the half instead of getting a kick in for 3 and failed miserably. That right there, changes the momentum of the game in the Bengal's favor. As much as I like him, he deserved most of the blame. I hope he learns a lesson here b/c I really like the kid, but he needs to stay humble and do not take anything for granted (Probably thought his team was invincible, after beating the Bills last week in a miracle game).
This stuff drives me insane. Just exceedingly easy ways of increasing your odds of winning that these guys are flat out too stupid and stubborn to accept. Shanahan even said after the game that he didn't even consider going for it.
