It's a cool way for the NFL to get more revenue by having a national TV audience who doesn't have cable. SOME of the games on Thursday night were good.

The NFL didn't know the Texans AND the Jaguars both were going to be as bad this year. It's always a good game when they're both not as bad.
They have been playing Thursday night games for a while. Is this a new argument?

We're talking about the TV deal here.

They're not announcing more games on Thursday. The NFL Network games are just going to be televised on Prime Time National free TV.
