That's what I'm thinking too. The Chargers are really in an enviable position, almost like they have the real number 1 pick.
Was wondering if (hoping) BAL was going a different direction and the #1 pick of a week or so ago would have fallen to 7. I considered Ronnie Stanley and Vernon Hargreaves at 7, and I think the 49ers might even give Paxton Lynch some thought. Now CLE gets a really good OT (Stanley) they need if they can resist the temptation of taking Elliott.
Clutchfans loves Ohio State. Five Buckeyes taken in the first 21 picks  What's crazy is that might not be too far off.
Stanley is too much of a risk IMO. He has some motivational issues. The new regime can't afford to strike out right off the bat. I think they would be better off taking Hargreaves or even Conklin instead of Stanley.
Interesting... I have read some pre-draft articles suggesting that Stanley was on the rise and could even be the best OT in the draft. So who knows...
There are some widely varying opinions on Stanley. Some think he doesn't really like football that much. Others think he's going to be a stud. I would see New York at 10 as a logical landing spot for him.
