I agree with your overall point but California doesn't have weather events like Texas. They don't have a weather resistant better grid.

The reason why California is forcing electric cars on people is because they believe it will fix climate change but it doesn’t

    just follow the money,

this Calif Republican Billionaire Palmer Luckey,[IMG]

has opted to invest another billion $ in Calif for his hi-tech company, Andruil Industries.

In addition, he has just gotten approval to start his new bank in Calif, Erebor, which will cater to tech startups and wealthy individuals. Erebor will reportedly be launched with $635 million in capital, and will fill a space left by the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank

most probably, Palmer Luckey's companies will acquires some of Yamaha's facilities

    indeed, just follow the money,
Trump 2.0's Commerce Dept is preparing to plant a major artificial intelligence outpost in San Francisco, positioning the federal government inside the country’s most influential AI cluster.

By putting the new hub in the Bay Area, Commerce is deliberately embedding itself in the region that has become shorthand for generative AI, from foundation model labs to enterprise software firms that are racing to productize them. Reporting on the plan describes the facility as a national center, not a satellite, which underscores how central the West Coast has become to Washington’s AI agenda.

The same planning documents link the California expansion to a wider federal strategy that includes exploiting natural resources in the state to increase national energy independence and bolster geopolitical leverage.

Commerce’s California office plans, which sit alongside debates between President Donald Trump and Governor Gavin Newsom over issues like gas production and an oil pipeline, show how

The San Francisco hub is one node in that larger contest over who controls the infrastructure that advanced computing requires.

the details for 2024 / 2025 have been released, contradicting the false narrative, spinned by this S___ show podcast, that tinfoil had parroted,

Gas-tax revenue hit a record $7.94 billion in Fiscal Year 2024-25, even as gasoline consumption has dropped by 2 billion gallons
from FY 18-19 and EV sales surged. Rising revenue is driven by the state’s steadily increasing per-gallon excise tax and
annual inflation adjustments adopted under Senate Bill 1077 in 2017.

EVs currently account for about 7% of the state’s on-road vehicles, a small share compared to the 35.9 million total registered vehicles statewide.

tinfoil has parroted the ill-informed podcast

[IMG], who never bother to read up on Calif Senate Bill 1077, passed in 2017, which has provided the basis for
state’s steadily increasing per-gallon excise tax and annual inflation adjustments
