Well... it contributed to its death. The culprits were: multiple villians, stupid storylines, bad directing, over-the-top stunts and effects, and crappy dialog.
no that would be too complex and too long since Venom is spawned from Spidey, and Carnage is spawned from Venom. That would take atleast 2.5 hours of screen time without adding all the other elements of the movie, such as credits and action scenes.
sorry to quote with the whole pic and all, but it does really seem to be a "teaser" poster. if you look kinda closely into spiderman's eye on the poster, you can see the reflection of somebody. looks kinda like venom... or i could be blind or something (lost my glasses almost a year ago... need more). anybody else see it?
yeah, it was the stupid storyline, bad directing and over the top everything. Batman Returns was nice. I mean Michelle Pfeifer?? in leather/latex. That was one fine p***y..cat.
Half of everything involved with Marvel comics happened in space. Phoenix, Galactus, Thanos, Silver Surfer, etc... And the Secret Wars were some damn good times. The symbiote was probably the coolest thing to come out of that but I guess im just nerdy.
hmm, Batman Begins was great, even with multiple villians. i'm gonna have to go with stupid dialogue and horrible story that killed the series.
agreed, I don't think that will be the design of the black suit. Besides, I think he will only have the black suit for a short time before he dumps it and topher grace takes it back to become venom.
I didn't quite see it myself, but I know some others saw "something" too. Here is a bigger image in case you want to zoom in or something: http://images5.pictiger.com/images/35/f5dea8a36bbd0987a5447d139fea5335.jpg And also: (I think this one was a joke about Batman though)
Ridiculousness is what killed the original Batman series. Batman Begins had multiple villians (Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul) and it was awesome. EDIT: I guess I should have read the rest of the thread.
if itmakes you fee any better i see it to. It's like his side profile and you can see his eyes and his freakish smile. Is that what you see?
i'm probably the nerdy one. i just enjoy the human element to superheros. i enjoy batman and spiderman for that very reason...because they're intensely human in terms of character. the symbiote stuff is all distraction for me. bringing in the concept of aliens to a series like spiderman is a huge mistake, in my view.
The multiple villians were Ra's al Guul and a subordinate 'scarecrow' All the villians after the 1st batman were Equals and their complicated histories were not able to be handled very well Notice. . you got next to NO HISTORY about the scarecrow Yea the hokeyness killed it in the ones after #2 but #2 started the down hill trend because they IMO over reached Batman Begins is good. But I doubt they can redo a Joker story as good as the 1st batman Rocket River
yepperz. it just seems that whoever did the poster just would have left the eye glossy as in other pics of him, but seems a bit too detailish for some reason.
