New Ipad

    A dumb question...

    I am ready to get an IPAD3. But I hear actually they just call it a "new IPAD". So it basically has the same name as the old IPAD (the first generation IPAD). When I am at the store, how would I know whether they give me a 1st generation IPAD or a "new IPAD"? Does it say "new IPAD" on the box?

    Why didn't they just name it IPAD3 to avoid the confusion?

    When I bought my ipad2, it didn't say ipad2 anywhere in the box. That thing didnt even haz intructions. Is just a feeling that you are born with it to find out.

    Look for the iCloud symbol on the box. Will be on the top or bottom edge.

    OP, I have a iPad 3 that I can sell for you, it's definitely iPad 3 not my old iPad 2 that just looks like the iPad 3. It's the iPad 3 asking for $500 you down?

    LOL. BTW...the iPad 3 looks different than the iPad 2.....ever so slightly.

    Yeah.....he is going to buy your iPad 2 (faux iPad 3) for $500......lol.
