How did they manage to make the Batman mask look like Pattinson?
Not a fan of the Robocop batsuit and I'm hoping this is just for screening purposes and has no ties to his movie.

I'm gonna wait to judge. Patinson has gotten way better at acting lately (watch Good Time) so there could be something there. Wish this was a Batman Beyond movie though. Would be sick to have Michael Keaton mentoring him.

Wasn't Pattison supposed to be a candidate for 007 as well?

NONE of the Marvels movies hold a candle to the quality of drama of the Dark Knight. The Only Marvel movie to even get an Oscar nomination was Black Panther. Marvel are great superhero movies, but are not great dramas.

Ah, my bad. I completely glossed over your ‘drama’ point. I agree. DK is hands down the best ‘drama’ mainstream superhero flick.

Judging by this Batmobile, Gotham is either going to be a radical departure from any previous Batman movie, or Bruce Wayne has fallen on hard times.

I was reading somewhere that the director likes shooting at dusk or dawn for certain scenes to get the lighting just right for a Gotham to really be Gotham. Im digging it.

I thought this was going to be a Year One type of feel. Bruce just getting his feet wet.

I read a couple YouTube comments that said that, but I didn't believe them at the time. This looks like that could be the case.

It looks a lot like the batmobile Neal Adams drew in the 1970's

You don't like him? His roles lately have all been self deprecating/dark humor. I think it works.

I dont question him as an actor. Hes good, Lobster was great. Im questioning the selection for the Penguin character. He seems a bit too "normal" sized of a human being.

I would equate them to amusement park films.

Oddly the Marvel film that had the most character depth was Thor Ragnarok. I'm not a big Marvel guy but that movie made me love Thor as my favorite Marvel hero.

Those Ragnarok is probably the best "film" out of all the Marvel movies.
