How about we just forget McKie and Lynch(obviously) and it becomes the two rookie picks?

I know your giving up a lot, but you are also getting Robinson and Ratliff, w/o having to submit either to the draft this year.

    I want to be a part of a 3 way deal...or a 4 way.

I need a backup PF or decent C.

Carter isn't untouchable, but I'd expect plenty in return for him.

You actually had me going there for a while - I was thinking: Yeah, that is a good deal. Robinson and Ratliff will replace my 2 draft submits this year, and I still will be a good team next year and do not have to rely on the uncertainty of the rookie draft to get there.

    My team would be:
    C-Ratliff
    PF-Robinson
    SF-Marion
    SG-Payton
    PG-Bibby

That is not a bad team. I know I would feel uncomfortable with Robinson handling my PF spot as I would like someone that rebounds better. (But of course it is always nice to have someone to discard in next seasons draft [IMG])

Problem is I lose all my depth, and we all know what good Raptors and Grizzlies did this year. Sure I will get to pick my 6th man with my high common pick, but after that it will be slim pickings. I will also have no rookies that I can hope to build on later.

What I feel I will be giving up is Nash and Swift and two rookie picks for Ratliff and Robinson - and I feel I will be better of with using the two high picks I have to replace what I lose to the draft. And then use my last rookie/2nd rounder to add depth.

I know I gave you a good offer earlier for Ratliff giving up my depth, but that was to sacrifice my future for this seasons playoffs. As it is now this deal will even take place after the playoffs so I feel no need to offer the bank for Ratliff.

But this was actually a good effort to try and make a 3 team work. But I think I will be better with just staying away from this deal.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

    VOR,

I am very interested in Kidd. Is he untouchable? I realize that he is a big part of your playoff run, so I am not proposing a trade for the here and now, but in the offseason. After you place your next championship trophy next to your old one, what would it take to pry Kidd from your grasp? [IMG]

the only honest way to answer that is by asking you, what you can offer me.

you may already know this, but kidd is averaging 2 more assists than anyone else in the league. that is amazing in its own right. however he is also 4th in the league in steals. he scores 15-17 pts(cant remember) and is of cource the highest rebounding guard in the league(6+)

so what is that worth to you, and what can you offer me in return

I'm looking to package either Cato or Dampier + Shandon to get an upgrade at the 3 or 5 spot.

RR, i dont think i could go for that. houston is a damn good player, but he would end up behind finley at the 2 spot. I would have to play one of them at the 3, and i would be much weaker at the PG spot if i were to make a trade like that. losing najara wouldnt hurt me really, but your pick wouldnt help me.

if i took the trade as snow and houston for kid and najara i would still need more.

who is EJ, what are his numbers?

I might consider trading him in the off-season. At the moment I really don't know.

On another issue: I think I will be moving one of my pointguards for sure this offseason. At the moment I'm thinking most of moving Nash in a deal to get a high rookie pick. But Bibby and Payton will not be untouchable depending on what I get.

kittles was avg 4 pts in about 8 min and williams about 5 pts 4 rbs in 14-they would be slightly higher but i have one of the strongest benches in the league

Brian Grant is available for a lottery pick.

We are talking about a guy that could go #1 overall in the common draft.

I am looking to move up in the rookie draft. I have the Celt's rookie pick and the Magic's 2nd round common, as well as,the Bucks 2nd rounder. I also have players such as Bobby Sura I could add.

Attention to the GMs of the Heat, Nuggets, and Hawks. Are your rookie picks available? No one on my roster is untouchable, except for KG. Please respond.

With great reluctance, I submit one of my two young rookie stars up for trade: Crawford or Fizer---both 16 ppg, Fizer 7 rebounds, Crawford 8 assists.

I need two picks in the common draft.

Well, I think that Kidd is better than any one of my superstars on my team. I would be willing to package EJ or maybe Allan Houston along with one of my draft picks (say Clippers common) for Kidd and Najera. If you needed a PG in return, I could throw in Snow or Timmah Hardaway instead of the draft pick.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, let me know. I am not very sure what positions you are looking to upgrade.

    Steve_Francis3,

What would you want for your rookie draft pick? I have the Clips and Raps rookie picks, and the Clips 1st round common...plus I could add players to some of those picks if you want more immediate returns. Let me know what you are interested in.
