Haven’t wached it but based on what’s been posted here, they ran the same villain in consecutive seasons, and that almost never works. Sucks, would’ve loved to see Jon Bernthal reject the penance stare, oh well.
Just finished it. Bleh. Not good. Not bad, but not good. A couple episodes were awful but more than a couple were good. Overall, I'd say it felt lazy. Perhaps they knew long ago that this was the end for Frank so no one in a creative role was really motivated to do anything extraordinary. They just went through the motions, and then it ended. Alright. I hope Jessica Jones season 3 has some sort of fan-service send-off for the Marvel/Netflix characters. Otherwise this will be a sad ending to a once great relationship.
I’m on episode 6 not sure what to think of it. Feels very contrived, I mean it’s like Frank is looking to get ass kicked just because. I’ll finish it but definitely not as good as the first season
The writing just progressively got worse as the season went on. First few episodes were okay, but then the script just got bad. To top it off the characters were boring. This shouldn't have been 13 episodes. My favorite part was Spoiler Frank handcuffed to a rail being less hurt than the cop wearing a seatbelt in the ambulance crash.
The moment when Frank started hanging around Madani's apartment is when things started to go downhill.
Awful. I was stuck laying around the house with a cold so I binged watched Punisher. It was a struggle to get through episodes.
Am I the only one who was expecting Billy Russo’s face to look way more f*cked up than it actually was?
For those of you who stopped watching before the end: it does get better. As with most of these Netflix Marvel shows, the middle dragged. Spoiler I kinda wish Karen Page showed up for more than one episode. She should have been in the show through the finale. Also, they never went back to the woman in the first two eps. Would have liked to see Frank end up with her, if this is indeed the final season
I liked characters like Wilson Fisk therefore it was hard to overcome the cancellation of DD. Bullseye was fun to watch.
Finished the last episode. Overall, this season was pretty meh. Good enough to pass the time, but not enough to want to watch the next episode. Russo was barely scratched up and it was pretty laughable how minimally scarred he was. The alt-right storyline wasn't good either.
