Wanting to convert a lot of VHS and/or analogue video into digital format. Used to have a 7900GT that did the trick (had VIVO) until it decided to pack it in and am struggling to get it replaced (more than 12 months old so not sure that the warranty is still valid). Anyway after recommendations as to what hardware to use to capture said analogue material. Got the software side of things covered (using Pinnacle Studio 10), though if there is better products out there that you can recommend am open to new ideas as well. For now though, mainly after the hardware, so let me hear what you guys all use!! TIA.
I bought a USB capture card very similar to this last week. Its for the same purpose as you are...I'm trying to convert some old VHS and HI-8 Tapes.
