    One interesting fact
Canton Charges used a 8 man rotation, which Harris and other guys playing 40 to 45 minutes

Vipers were using 10 men with guys playing 25 to 35 minutes.

    They were experimenting.

Lin was also changing positions from college SG to PG in pros and he was successful.

Morris might turn it around, but it don't look good. His crying to Jerome Solomon about going to RGV also reflects poorly on his future.

The Vipers obviously are not too worried about winning or losing.

Using 10 players or more.... they were giving MINUTES to all players ON PURPOSE.

So what did Morey say Morris is going to become without offseason?
What did you envision him becoming his rookie season first of all?

Not a loser and a whiner.

Morris only getting minutes when team doesn't care about winning reflects poorly on his ability to win.

Forreal! It's called the d-league for a reason!

Carl, in case you were wondering, the D sands for DEVELOPMENTAL! As in developing, which means the players are NOT developed! Calling a player a bust before he gets ANY real NBA minutes is just ignorant!

Maybe than that's on Morey, Gersson Rosas and whoever picked him, and promoted him.

Yes. They failed with this pick. Should get rid of him soon.

I think by getting rid of him, it still won't bring back Jeremy Lin.

    Jeez, dude, let it go.

Is Morris motivated to light it up in the RGV? Does he want to jack up his ankle again and further delay his return?

    Give it a rest.

His shooting is okay. The only fault i see is him trying to play the three when it is currently obvious that he cannot defend NBA threes. Maybe he will some time in the future, but until then he will continue to be "developed".

Mike Harris dominated and he played SF at 6'6 too so there's no reason for Morris to do bad. Let him stay there for the year, he's not ready for the NBA, at all.

dont understand why some people r already almost calling Morris a bust ... he's just a 14th pick, drafted by a winning team that can not offer him minutes for the moment ... + he has to make an adjustment from PF to SF ... give him a break ...

juste for fun, the last 10 players (before Morris) selected with the 14th pick : Troy Murphy, Fred Jones, Luke Ridnour, Kris Humphries, Rashad McCants, Ronnie Brewer, Al Thornton, Anthony Randolph, Earl Clark, Patrick Patterson ...

and btw i dont see any player selected after Morris i would pick instead of him

Lol, he had proved he can tear up the dleague pre injury. Check out a recent rockets.com article, and it explains why they put him back there to concentrate on defending the three. All he and the coaches care now is practising defending the three, not filling meaningless stat sheet or win the games at this point.
