This is the third matchup in the Western conference. The judging criteria is based on the following:

Frontcourt- Who has the better FC

Backcourt- Who has the better BC

Bench- WHo has the better bench

Offense- Which team has the better overall team offense. Which teams offense would run smoother and be more effective.

Defense- Which team plays better defense? This includes team defense as well as individual defense

Chemistry- which team would have better chemistry and work together better. For example, a team full of scorers who like to keep the ball in their hands wouldn't work very well.

Based on these categories, you will determine the winner. IN THE END, WHO WILL WIN A 7 GAME SERIES

    QazQay
    pg: Allen Iverson
    sg:Sam Jones
    sf:Rick Barry
    pf: Charles Barkley
    C: David Robinson

    Bench:
    Bruce Bowen
    Bob Lanier
    Yao Ming

    VS.

    RedNation
    pg: Magic Johnson
    sg: Tracy McGrady
    sf: Paul Pierce
    pf: Chris Webber
    C: Kareem Abdul-Jabaar
    Bench
    G: Rajon Rondo
    F: Dale Ellis
    C: Ralph Sampson

    Two words....Magic & Kareem.

Anyone old enough to remember Webber's dunk on Barkley? If not google it, and the commercial they made after it, lol...brings back memories.

Search Barkley 56 points versus golden state. :)

Frontcourt- Who has the better FC

This is closer that people may initially think. All the fc players in their primes would be difficult matchups for each other. A slight advantage to RedNation as a result of length and potentially better defense.

Backcourt- Who has the better BC

Sam Jones, iirc, was a defensive beast, but the advantage is clearly with RedNation here.

Bench- WHo has the better bench

Push...each of those players coming off the bench bring a unique skillset to the game. I don't see an advantage either way.

Offense- Which team has the better overall team offense. Which teams offense would run smoother and be more effective.

I have to give the advantage to RedNation. Magic would be the floor general with options on the wings and a low post threat that he actually played with during his career.

Defense- Which team plays better defense? This includes team defense as well as individual defense

I'm giving the advantage to Qayqay here.

Chemistry- which team would have better chemistry and work together better. For example, a team full of scorers who like to keep the ball in their hands wouldn't work very well.

The advantage here is with RedNation. Magic and Kareem would already have chemistry and Magic facilitating the offense would help the other players fall in line seamlessly. As much as I love Iverson, he would be a ball stopper.

Based on these categories, you will determine the winner. IN THE END, WHO WILL WIN A 7 GAME SERIES

    4-2 RedNation

You don't recall correctly. You're thinking of the wrong Jones. K. C. was the "defensive beast."

    backcourt:

We all know Magic struggled with quick guards, but T-Mac could take AI, he was a great defender back in his Toronto days. Magic on the other hand would kill AI by posting up, it wouldn't be pretty.

Jones vs. T-Mac is a tough one, both great on offense with the slight edge to T-Mac. On defense, noth have potential because of athleticsm and wingspan, but nothing outstanding(Jones) or not fully commited(T-Mac). Both are great in clutch situations and could bring a team to the next level.

->Backcourt: RedN has the advantage, especially with Rondo and Ellis comin off the bench, deadly combination.

Barry vs. Pierce: wash in my opinion, both deadly in their prime and few flaws.
Barkley vs. Webber: This is intriguing, both deadly on transition, able to knock down shots, bang inside. Would give the advantage to Chuck because of his killer mentality and strength.

Robinson vs. Kareem: Both two of the best centers of all time, but Kareem is the most dominant C ever imo, his combination of skills and size is unmatched.

->frontcourt: Looking at the starters I'd give the advantage to RedN, Sampson of the bench is great and I'd take him over Yao and Lanier because of his versatility and quickness. Really tough to give an edge though, great frontcourts.

Offense: See Magic rapin AI and T-Mac being able to contain AI to a healthy level if he fully commits to defense. Looking at the frontcourt I see RedN with a tiny advantage.

Defense: See QazQay with a better defensive unit from 2-5 and Bowen, Lanier on the bench.

Conclusion: Really close series, but in the end I see RedN winning with the deadly Magic-Kareem duo and his better thought out bench.

    RedNation wins easy. 4-1.

Murder the break and halfcourt. Got so much size to kill on the boards. The team does kinda suck (relatively defensively outside of Jabbar) but it would outscore QazQay.

    Frontcourt:

Barry, Barkley, Robinson, Lanier, and Yao vs Pierce, Webber, Kareem, Ellis, and Sampson

Overall, QazQay has the talent advantage here, which is saying something considering RedNation's frontcourt.

    Backcourt:

Iverson, Jones, and Bowen vs Magic, McGrady, and Rondo

    Talent advantage flips here.

    RedNation

    Bench:

Bowen, Lanier, and Yao vs Rondo, Ellis, and Sampson

QazQay needs a point guard BAD, besides that, still ain't as good.

    RedNation

    Offense:

Point guard deficiency hurts QazQay's team badly here. Who gets those scorers the ball? I like Iverson more than most, but that's not his forte. Magic, McGrady, and Rondo, on the other hand, can move the ball.

    RedNation

    Defense:

Neither team is great defensively, IMO, but QazQay does have the particularly bad defenders and some bad matchups (Magic vs Iverson, for example).

    RedNation

    Chemistry:

RedNation's great passers create the chemistry while Iverson, again, just not his forte, causes problems at the point.

    RedNation

WHO WILL WIN A 7 GAME SERIES

Barkley has a couple of great games, but is not enough: RedNation in 6.
