Magic keeping it interesting with the Raptors. Toronto is resting DeRozan for tomorrow vs Cleveland. Hopefully it backfires on them.
It's even more apparent when he lies about not knowing about his totals during the post game interviews when asked about the triple doubles. It's ok to want the dumb-ass triple double AND want to win. It's so fake.
LMAO! Baynes tying his shoes on 2 straight possessions, got up in time to almost grab a poster from Russ.
I’d rather face Portland or Okc rather than Utah. Utah is a matchup problem and their defense with Gobert is otherworldly. I really mean it... something like a Drtg of 94 I believe. Him playing free safety and just being such a time protector stalls out our drives. They defend the 3 almost as good as anyone and they really limit corner 3 attempts. Plus they have been on fire. I want Utah at 6 or 7 because I don’t want that potential matchup problem.
Clippers can't create any offense. Teodosic bricking everything, I remember all the hype upon his signing. I said then he will be out of the league in 2 years.
Rockets have never had a problem playing Utah though. Even with all the crazy defensive stats, Clint plays Gobert to a stand still. Rockets have played Utah when they were hot and Rudy was back from injury and still an easy win. Rockets swept the Jazz this year and Gobert played in 3 of the 4 games. Furthermore, Harden doesn't seem to care that Gobert is 17ft tall. The last game, Harden was going into the lane and finishing over Gobert like he wasn't there.
Poor Jeff Teauge. Getting hammered on two consecutive layups, 2nd time he had some blood on his forehead, and no foul called. Then he gets called for an offensive foul on Harrel. It was called correctly, but why do refs swallow their whistle on his layups?
Is Westbrick bad enough to cost his team a game against a shorthanded Celtics squad? Only time will tell.
But not like they have been playing lately and when we did we were held to 96. In a 7 games series, Gobert’s ability to defend both the drive and lob off the PnR is phenomenal and presents problems. He has given us serious fits in the past. His superb pnr defense ability to guard both lob and drive allows the jazz defense to not rotate off the corners. Which is why they give up he least amount of corner 3s. They defend the 3 very greatly. So they have the best rim protector, allow the least amount of corner 3s, the absolute lowest frequency% of shots in the restricted area or 3pt land. I’m absolutely not saying we lose. But they are a real matchup problem. Their offense tho... ehh
Russ did not stat hunt today. Strange. Maybe because it is national TV? That hasn't stopped him before though.
OMG MElo is ****ing choking. I've been lowkey rooting for them lately. We need them to play the Warriors in the 2nd round.
Celtics in the last 50 seconds start dispatching witch doctors, man. Rockets are the late game so you know this punk-ass game has an 86% chance of going into OT.
