Is this a spin as a somehow bad game? He and Gallo were positives on the court and he had a 29 PER. It was a typical random Paul game. High points low assists, some games high assists low points. Efficiency all over the place etc. All his career box scores are crazy inconsistent. The guy held Conley to 1/16 ffs. The Rockets blew it. Paul actually looks physically BETTER. Way more fluidity in his running motions. His legs extend higher and easier when running. Clear sign of improved mobility due to weight loss FINALLY. Westbrook otoh, is getting worse.
I don't know why/how people are surprised that Paul had a very good game, especially when he's able to be the main conductor on a team. The fact that he missed 24 games in each of the past 2 seasons is the reason why we needed to roll the dice and move on from him.
this LorneMalvo guy is the same dude who made a thread claiming that CP was in very good shape at the start of last season and was poised to have 1 of the best seasons of his career based off nothing but his own CP Only Fan assumptions, and we saw how that turned out... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/chris-paul-is-stupidly-good.293607/#post-11987039 1 of the comments said CP is better than Harden...lmao, delusion runs very high on CF at the start of every season as people jump to conclusions based off preseason or single games at the start of the season more from renowned physical therapist LorneMalvo last season “He was even more explosive than I assumed he'd be after shedding the pounds. Flying up for boards, finishing in traffic through contact. Had theball on a string consistently. Beat everyone off the dribble at-will. He lived in the lane. He had a Nash-esque lane dominating night. Last year he would prettymuch dominate on just jumpers.”
You guys are hilarious. Now where in this forum did I touch you to make you do investigative research Paul actually look really good last year. But he has shed even more weight. Once he got the elbow injury his jumper died and then his confidence too. He’s still easily better than Russ regardless.
