oh i was just saying that even in a current player draft doing it by conference doesn't seem like a good idea but we can give it a shot i guess.

I agree with this. Either way let's draft. How about doing just 14 teams and getting either draft started.

I agree, and it's 8 teams per conference so each team will get a star. Top HOF lesser superstar = lesser HOF top superstar.

yeah that's true. but the difference won't be as big as when we did them separately (because we had 14 ppl for West and 16 for East= East talent was spread out).

in the end it's about shaking things up a little and trying something different.

re starting with 14 -- we will if no one shows up. i think we'll give it till 2 or 3 PM Houston time.

If we're drafting all time greats in the first round I'm in. Sounds fun

Based on the voting.. Looks like all current players draft so VBG isn't in this one?

i might still change my vote :p

but tbh, 15 player draft with conferences sounds shaky. i guess 1 extra player in the West?

it would be better to have 14 or 16

Haha so is this draft still based by conference? Bcuz I like to be able to draft any player. West is overall better than the east.

Honestly, I also prefer an All-NBA draft.

I also suggest horry rule to be 15 mins to pick. I'm tired of seeing people say "offers" and then wait for 30 mins and pick. Or logg off and come back in 1 hr to pick..

i don't mind 15 but i think 30 is fine too. there are situations where someone takes all your targets from right under your nose and you have to do some thinking.

i don't really want a super fast draft, i'm fine with the draft taking 3-4 days. i just don't want extreme time wasting. like when someone logs off knowing he has all night, or chats until last minute and then goes off for hours. we even had a couple situations in the last draft where someone chats, and right before their pick they log off for the night.
    No more of that.

re conferences / no conferences -- well, i just went with what seemed like the general demand during the previous draft. people were asking for that and no one was asking for 'usual' all-nba, so i guess lets stick with conferences this time.

if you guys asked for it at the start, i would've added that to the poll. but right now it would be a huge delay to wait for everyone to express their opinions.

Having all time players would make it so interesting. What if someone gets two all time players but completely mortgages the rest of his draft for it?

    Would be fun.
