I fell asleep during the movie. I was quite a few drinks in though. It's about alien elephant hand monsters that talk with squid ink. Rotten tomatoes score is 93. They're dumb. Snooze fest.
My thought on the ending: Spoiler I like the movie, but the whole "time" concept is getting old. This time (pun intended) it is like a palindrome, Hannah. Not to mention, the concept of love (Amy Adams has the child despite knowing the future to experience the good times despite the bad). Again, liked the movie but wanted a different ending as it seemed like Interstellar's ending and theme. Absolutely loved that movie until the last act.[/spoiler}
Can someone please force Forest Whitaker into retirement? He's the has-been that never was... yet somehow, decades later, he's still being cast in movies like this and Rogue One. Ugh.
