1.Lamelo Ball = pg 2.RJ Barrett = shooting guard/forward 3.Bradley Beal = sg 4.Luka Doncic = pg/sg 5.Anthony Edwards = shooting guard 6.Markell Fultz = pg 7.Kyrie Irving = pg 8.Enmanuel Mudiay = pg 9.Jamal Murray = pg/sg 10.Deanglo Russell =pg 11. Coby White = pg 8 out of 11 players plays pg. 1. Lamelo Ball = pg 2.Luka Doncic = pg/sg 3.Markell Fultz = pg 4.Kyrie Irving = pg 5.Enmanuel Mudiay = pg 6. Jamal Murray = pg/sg 7. Deanglo Russell =pg 8. Coby White = pg Green can't play pg. Comparing him to 8 pgs is stupid as fk. Explain how point guards have an advantage on defense, rebounding, and shooting? Dumb fk. U don't compare pgs to sg period. No one compares curry to klay bc it doesn't make sense. When ranking shooting guards, u don't have point guards in the list. Same if u are comparing pg, you shouldn't have shooting guards in the list. This is such a basic concept that u can't seem to get.
This is how stupid you are comparing pg and sg like they are the same. Example Who is the best and worst pg on this list? Curry, Jordan, Kobe, lebron, beal, Thompson, rose, Booker, cp3.
You said 10, now you're saying 8, but then you say exactly what I said which is 5 with 3 combos. Just sad the things Jalen makes you say and do. People compare curry and Klay' shooting and defense all the time. Even rebounding. 5th time now... this is soooooo embarrassing for you... How does being a point guard make you a better rebounder, defender, or shooter? I understand assists are easier but that was 1 of about 10 things I mentioned... Does more dribbling make you shoot free throws better??? I'm curious where this thinking from you comes from, it's hilarious....
Who is the best rebounder? Defender? Who is the best shooter? Do we give handicaps based on position? If a PG shoots 38% from 3 is it like a sf shooting 34%? Do explain the method to your madness..
Quote me cause u have serious reading comprehension where I supposedly said 10 pg 8 out of 10 isn't the same sht as 10.
My mistake, you're still claiming 6 PGs, not 5. Im error I had Russell as a combo when he's full time point. So point taken... 6... 6 players of the same age and general size coming into the league... with the other 5...
U are taking my sentence out of context. I was telling u to rank that list like how u did with green. Curry, Jordan, Kobe, lebron, beal, Thompson, rose, Booker, cp3. I want to know who u think is the best and worst pg, humor me
A repeat. It's 10 centers not 10 pgs. U could yield the same effect of saying green sucks comparing green to 10 center.
Here's the problem with your premise, I never said Jalen Green was the best or worst point guard. I compared his performance production to players with similar sizes, ages, and experience. Then you decided to ignore everything but a single stat of factual data I posted.
@Landry's Tooth Dude stop wasting time and give me your ranking On this list. Who is the best and worst pg. Curry, Jordan, Kobe, lebron, beal, Thompson, rose, Booker, cp3.
There are a lot of posts and I've blocked a lot of fanboys so it could have been someone else. You were implying it which made me think you said 10. I suspect it was someone else now. My apologies for any misstatements.
You're asking for something I wasn't doing. If you want me to spend 30 minutes downloading the data I could. What context? Career averages? Current? Up to youngest common age? That is why I just rely on the numbers and then observe from there.
U basically compared green to 8 pg/combos out of 11 players and came to the simple conclusion that he sucks. The point of what I'm trying to show u is that it's stupid to compare a pg to a list of shooting guards and a shooting guard to a bunch of pg even if they play the guard position. Different position generates different stats, generally. No one would ever put lebron In a pg ranking just bc he's a "guard".
But you don't say why the shooting is different, the rebounds different, or the defense different. Makesbit impossible to believe you are sincere when your entire premise is based on one stat that represented a tiny portion of the data. Clearly you are fixating because you grasping for anything to disprove the data. Here's something simple for you, just ignore assists. He still fails at most categories. Now you don't have to waste time explaining things everyone knows already.
You seem to not understand what a combo guard is. A combo guard is a guard that has the skill set of both a 1 and a 2 guard. They might be bigger sometimes but not necessarily. They can play offball and they can drive and shoot like a 2 guard. And it certainly doesn’t mean they can’t run Point or 2 the full game or most of the game if that’s what their role requires. Harden is a combo guard but plays point. He’s naturally a 2 and physically bigger and can score. But being a combo doesn’t mean he doesn’t get assists. Again it depends on the designated role that coaching put on the player. Combo guard isn’t a position or role on the court. It’s about ability. Donovan Mitchell is a combo but plays SG. Jalen Brunson is a combo and plays1. The 1 and 2 are designated positions and roles on the court. Luka is a pg has been since his rookie year. He is special. He ain’t no combo guard he is a combo guard/forward. But he plays the 1 and played it his rookie year with Dennis Smith as more of a scorer/SG. Smith was expendable so they got rid of him and started Brunson who played more 2 than 1. Luka dominated the ball even in his rookie year bringing up the ball from the back court and setting up the half court. He drives to make plays in the paint and often kicks out to shooters in corners and wings as Barnes Brunson and Finney Smith were some of his top guys he assisted to. Same with Murray. He brings the damn ball up the court most of the time and tries to make plays off a high screen or in the paint or when the offense isn’t in the Jokic’s hands. And what the fuc$ you talking about same size? This is where you go wrong with your biases. First your group of 12 players aren’t the same size. Lamelo is 6’7. Luka is 6’7 230. Beal is 207. Edwards is 225. Barrett is 6’6 214. Murray is 215. Why would you even mention size for when they’re not the same?
