    2. -Trade with St. Louis for picks #39, and #65 for #26.
I predict Blackmon will be off the board by #6, so St. Louis will trade with us to get K. Wright. With the #39 pick, the Texans select LB. Donta Hightower

    2. With the #58 pick, the Texans select OL Peter Konz

    3. With the #65 pick, the Texans select WR Ryan Broyles

    3. With the #76 pick, the Texans select DE/OLB Bruce Irvin

    4. With the #98 pick, the Texans select DE/DT Derek Wolfe

    4. With the #120 pick, the Texans select WR Joe Adams

    5. With the #152 pick, the Texans select CB/S Dequan Menzie

    6. With the #183 pick, the Texans select TE David Paulson

    7. With the #215 pick, the Texans select K Randy Bullock

My bad. I thought you were talking about the 2nd pick in the draft.

    Carry on.

It would be a huge surprise if Konz slid that far back. He should be gone before #40 at the latest. And with Myers resigned, I'd think it'd be a higher priority to look for G or T depth.

yeah, no way he lasts to #58. Drafting him wouldn't be a bad idea though and having him be Guard and backup C.

I'm all for trading back, this is a year we can actually afford to do so. But if Kendall Wright is there and we pass on him, imma be pissed.

To me, a healthy Broyles would be the #2 WR taken in this draft. If he is 100% by training camp, I have no problem passing on Wright for him and Hightower

That's all I have heard. Since suffering the injury, his draft stock dropped to 3rd/4th round.

What is Broyles' status anyway? I was super high on him til he blew out his knee. Such a shame.

So many holes on this team now... not major ones, but depth is an issue, and late 1st round WR's usually don't contribute much their first year. Might be a reach. Don't get me wrong, WR2 was my biggest concern 6 weeks ago. But now... not so much.

This article says he's ahead of schedule on rehab, but I wouldn't expect him to say he had set backs. He wants a to play.

I think we're still in a position where we're in need of depth. Depth can be had in rounds 2, 3, 4, and if you're good at scouting, even later. I think the position that this team is in, it can afford to take the best player available, or a good player at a position of slight need. Wide receiver fits that description.

A Kendall Wright on this team, in my opinion, would do wonders for Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels, and Arian Foster. I think someone like him could make about as much of a difference as any offensive rookie you could draft.

Theres so much value at WR in this draft we can get a true#2 reciever in the second round or beyond.

I agree we should work for depth in this years draft.

I think Coby Fleener in the first, who's the best TE in the draft in a very long time. Would easily replace Dressen's productivity and eventually replace and upgrade what OD has done.

Or Donta Hightower at ILB, a 3-4 version of DeMeco Ryans.

If we don't trade back for another second and a third or fourth pick. I say we take one of those two.

Being a Sooner fan, Ryan Broyles would be a great addition to this team. He would fit right in with Kub's offense. Hope they get him, leader on and off the field, all around great guy

I can see where you're coming from with your view on Wright, but historically, rookie wide receivers just don't do much... and when they do, they're usually taken within the first 10 picks. They just take awhile to develop. I know there are exceptions, but to expect a rookie WR to add much value right off the bat seems like a stretch.
