gr8-1, I'm using "dumbass" in treeman's vernacular in this thread only. He doesn't really mean it that bad, as it turns out in his latter posts. My real feeling is that I'd like to talk about Mobley's mistakes, but choose not to because all you get back is hating from some people. I've somewhat gone into email mode with some friends on talking about Mobley, to avoid the bashers. Why agree if they are just going to see everything he does as a mistake, or say something like "finally, he does something right." Your take is fine with me. I agree a lot. I think Mobley's speed is much more destructive than you, but that's just a matter of degree. We seem to agree in principle on much of this losing streak.
We usually get killed by point guards, but most two guards don't seem to outplay Cat. He is actually the best perimeter defender on the team, imo. He is very good at stopping penetration. Against tall 2's like Kobe and McGrady, he has some trouble shutting down the outside jumper, because they can shoot over him. But thoose are the shots we want them taking anyway. I only wish Steve and Moochie could D up like Cat and Oz.
