I guess you just happen to attend some of the few losses in the prior 6 years then bc they have won a whole lot more at home than not, prior to this year
Astros OPS road vs home 2017 - .834, .812 2018 - .777, .730 2019 - .819, 878 2020 - .717, .723 2021 - .780, .787 2022 - .711, .778 2023 - . 856, .641 Astros road offense has been better sometimes recently (less than I initially thought) during this dynasty. But 2023 is a COMPLETE anomaly. 2023 Astros became the first team in MLB history with a sub-500 home record and 20+ over .500 on the road. WTF is going on ?!!!!
It's basically the same lineup that went 6-1 at MMP last year on their way to a WS championship, expect that they are improved at 1st base and at DH this postseason (remember how horrible the DH spot was last postseason).
Beltran's glove is buried in the outfield... Spirit of Junction Jack was disturbed at the demolishing of Tal's Hill.
I still can't believe the 2022 World Series MVP is now being pinch hit with a guy hitting under .200.
My nails are going to look like Altuve's by 1st pitch but it will be exciting. I still can't believe Pena is considered a "big boy" and not put on the bench once in a while.
I’m not sure cheating would help this offense at the house of horrors. Milo use to call Candlestick park the Astros house of horrors. Thanks for the pick up Milo.
Because we used to have hitters who took advantage of Crawford boxes (Yuli) Correa Springer Gattis - and now we have players who can’t even get a Sac Fly (Chaz, Maldy Brantley can’t get ball out infield, Pena) etc etc
Literally named after the biggest financial scandal in American history. Cost thousands their retirement and untold suicides.
