I can respect your post, Eddie. Very mature of you. Thanks Unfortunately now I’m hearing the business owner in Dallas did in fact die from the beating he took tonight.
Then arrest the peaceful protesters for breaking curfew, don’t shoot rubber bullets at a crowd. FWIW even peaceful protest involves breaking the letter of the law.
Already condemned it. Not justifying anything. I'm just pointing out that this was bound to happen because politicians like you have ignored the root of the problem for so long. When a child acts out and is neglected, and ignored, they will cry louder, spill things, and cause disruption. Not neglecting the problem is the solution.
We may be in jeopardy of losing it, I think that's gaining traction every day. It's clear that someone like Trump has been able to expose not only the cracks in our Republic but to also expose who a lot of his supporters are as Americans. I doubt the Italians in Mussolini's Italy wish they had just played nice before Fascism took root there. In fact, probably the opposite. Not to sound alarmist but I encourage all liberals and progressives to arm yourselves and prepare some supplies in the event of a serious national emergency. That used to be kind of a joke to me in the past but we're heading in that direction. You can just kind sense in society that there is a lot of stress and uncertainty not just with the pandemic but with how erratic Trump is from day to day.
I may be incredibly immature but I'm not depraved to the level of shooting civilians with beanbags. There's nothing wrong with tear gas.
Hopefully that man will survive, but seriously, what the hell was he thinking trying to protect against a ton of angry, violent protesters. You can't put yourself in a situation where you are going to get hurt, you just can't.
Asking people to just give up their business they have spent their life creating to some Antifa teenagers is not going to go over well with many but especially texans.
