    My wife is asian (Thai born) and I have loads of asian friends. Not all of them know basketball and yet just about ALL of them know of Yao Ming.

    One thing's for sure, the Rockets will get a lot, and I mean a LOT, more fans world wide if he is the franchise player for 10 years.
