Ironically the "socialism" that Americans are asking for is public health insurance which would free the burden of private employers having to provide coverage which would vastly benefit the free market as a whole.

Obviously the private health insurance market would collapse.

It was just 10 years ago that our friends on the left hated McCain, now since he can be used to bash Trump, they pretend like they love him. It's funny how that happens. Anyway, he's dead now.

 

Hated? I think it was a normal amount of disagreement. I remember liberal posters on this message board praising Mccain for him rejecting the "kenyian Muslim narrative". We just disagreed with foreign hawkish policy mostly.

Oh, I get that, I wasn't talking about disagreeing with political views, I was talking about hate....and it's funny that you'd chime in given some of your comments in those old threads. It went well beyond simply disagreeing politically.

 

No, it didn't. Bring up any of my comments that you'd like. None of them were about hate towards McCain. You can bring up the one where I applauded him for shutting down the Obama Muslim crap for the misinformed old woman. You can bring up any of the other posts I've made as well. Not one was hatred directed at McCain the person.
