I think that's what we'll get. It currently looks like the Republicans will hold on to the Senate possibly picking up an extra seat while the Democrats should pick up 30 or so seats along with control of the House. Still a lot of time left till the election though.

By economic policy, I assume he really means tax policy.

I wouldn't call the lack of fiscal responsibility as moving left. I call it moving towards pure stupidity. Lower taxes! More Spending! Trump could not exemplify that more. I can't stand Republicans anymore. Both parties are for obstruction as a minority.

Well whatever we call it, the complete lack of fiscal responsibility from either party is the reason I could never support either of them fully. All I've seen from both parties lately is a move towards less and less fiscal responsibility and towards the authoritarian extremes of the left and right. There was a time when you saw libertarian minded politicians on both sides, these days they are an endangered species.

Good to see that the republicans in NJ do have a limit to what they will support...

Do we want to take bets on if and when we get the public thumbs up from Trump to Russia to hack our elections like he did in 2016?

The tradecraft is certainly to do it public like he did before to diminish intent.

All signs point to this being an election Trump and his minions welcoming it in full force since they know the stakes if the Democrats take back the House. If you knew that supporting a hack from a foreign power would keep you in power and keep the law from exercising judgement on your crimes, you’d probably endorse the hack too... honestly.

I hope there is a blue wave this time but I do not have much faith in the American voters because the vast majority of them are low information voters that are easily manipulated.
