Let's not forget how clutch CP3 is in the playoffs. When he goes beast, he elevates himself and everyone else. Plus, he hungry as hell for that ring! Melo ain't got that kind of drive anymore. Some people play to play, very few play to win. Season starts after trade deadline.

He got exactly what he is worth.... kanter, McDermott, and 2nd rounder. We got the players association president! That's leverage on and off the court.

I wouldn't count out George bolting to the Lakers still. If that happens, I think Melo walking from OKC too is fair game. We could still land him in the off season.

Lol I took that Melo statement as in he is gonna get his points. He isn’t there to get rebounds but he is there to get his points.

Idk if westbrick will let him have his points. Specially not if it’s the 4th quarter. Let’s see how that works out.

Maybe Russ will sit out tonight so we don’t see how bad they play together. Hehehe :p:D

It's too painful to watch Melo with OKC. We needed that third star.
I'd rather read about an "inside source" talking about what hour Melo will be a Rocket and trying to convince people it's not happening than watch him play in a Thunder uniform.

Yeah, it is just sad. I thought we had him. I prayed to God every day that we would get him since the deal was in place between Rockets and Knicks, but he did not join us eventually. It is painful. Maybe God have a bigger plan for us in near future that would excite us.

Definitely should've given them Capella...Zhou could've filled his role!

It's funny, cuz I'm always on the fence about whether losing EG was worth it or not; never even considered giving up Capela. But man, if he turns out to be a dud this season, sheesh!
I mean its happened before. DMo was unbelievable one season and then done the next, but yeah that was due to injury mostly I guess.

Onuaku could've filled the role. We had Melo at our finger tips and blew it!

Or maybe trade Melo to Rockets by trade deadline IF he did not fit right in along with P.G. and W.B.

It is good as is.....Ryan is average or above and Melo is the better player but we won't have that much depth with him on board.

Would be good to have him as he is a better fit here than in Oklahoma.....

Capela never plays well in preseason. He is critical to our success, and Carmelo is a net negative.

He was winded after about 7 minutes. His conditioning will improve though. Really hard to keep added muscle and weight every summer and expect to have the same stamina every fall.

Give him a few more games, plus Adams makes him his b**** a lot. Bad matchup.

Yup, exact same thing happened last preseason. He will be good to go in a few weeks. Anyone that has played ball knows that big man take a bit longer after an offseason of mass gain.
