They really dont need a star. Just a defensive big and a pick or two.

    Big mistake

There are no stars available that are worth it.

Morant, Edwards, Shai, Giannis, Luka, Jokic, Tatum, are the only superstars worth trading for and I doubt they on the market

Not sure how I feel about this. If you asked me a month ago I would absolutely package Jalen for a star. Now I'm less certain. I think I would still consider moving him this offseason, but I'd want a great return, like De'Aaron Fox level player at a minimum. Anything short of that and I think I am back to "wait and see" with him.

As for Alpi, if we trade him, it damn well better be for a young, top 5 to 8 or so player in the league, or a guy who projects to be that good very soon. Anything short of that and I'm going straight up call it a terrible move.

So looking around the league--how likely is it that Luka, SGA, Tatum or maybe (on the "top 5ish soon" front) Edwards or Haliburton, become available? I'm thinking pretty unlikely.

The media just trying to get their Rockets scoops in because they are hot right now. This dude said he had "a feeling". There is no way you got 2 potential All Stars under 23 and you want to trade them away. It makes no sense. Especially since they haven't realized their potential together.

yall really think tilman would do this again after the CP3 debacle? i know some hate tilman, but he is not that dumb.

The same way you got people out here saying Rockets offered up Jalen to BK. Ime is not giving up on talent like Jalen green after half a year.

    it's all cap.

people always trying to trade away the rockets best players, it's weird.

I would not trade Alpi for anyone.

Jalen - a month ago, yes, but now...not sure.

I'm a fan of whatever Ime wants to do and an anti fan of whatever Stone wants to do outside of drafting.

I’m seriously looking at potential trade candidates… What “stars” are even available?

who is available available that would be better than the upside of green or Sengun plus draft picks?

Trying to bring in Brooke Lopez really is not an indictment of the amount of patients they’re showing with Alpi. Some people are bizarre.

Alpi would have played more PF, less C but the same amount of minutes in the same role Lopez would’ve been Jabari on offense.
