This is only the second round, Harden has had plenty of series where he did well and took over. It was the later rounds and against teams like the Warriors that will be a true test. Luka does look like the better player and Kidd is a whole lot better than Kevin McHale which Harden had at this stage. McHale really didn't do much to develop James , I think Dallas and Kidd are doing a better job at putting Luka in a position to succeed, even with this lackluster roster they have. James at his best had some decent players around him, but an awful coach in McHale, when Mike came along we built a great roster and came close the competition was just once in generation good going up against that Warriors team.

The stats aren't fully telling... lukas usage rate far exceeds Harden in the playoffs.

Harden has the edge on defense when he's engaged...

Luka just won his first playoff series. He's about to find out why Harden doesn't have a ring...

Has something to do with with a bald alien-like creature running the nba and a team being funded by the gdp of a small island nation...

10 years is a long time for Luka to keep up the pace... deep playoffs and heavy usage will test him....

It is funny that McHale of all people is the one who called out Luka in a broadcast for not taking care of his body and talking about how he loved donuts. Either way Donuts >> Partying w Lil Baby.

The Warriors were just too good.

Harden has never “took over” in a game 7. He has had some decent games. Luka took the suns soul tonight. It was unbelievable. That is the killer mentality that Harden lacks.

the thing is tho when Luka gets screwed by the refs against the warriors(which we know will happen). Will Luka give up and sulk like harden or will he leave it all out there. Luka has more heart than James and that counts for a lot in the playoffs

I don't think you know what you're saying... luka has heart but harden doesn't...

So luka needs heart to accomplish what Harden doesn't need heart to do?

Harden has very few game 7s because the Rockets had been winning most series in 5 or 6...

I'd have to look, but I'm guessing only 4 or 5 in a rockets uni...

He was fine in 2019 playoffs against the warriors... for example... not a game 7 but he had a good series against the warriors... i doubt luka would have similar success but maybe he does...
