Those precious 40 man roster spots... meanwhile somebody is just uselessly taking up space on the 25-man roster.
Based on your usual knowledgeable and appreciated posts, I thought someone may have hacked your account.
Houston Astros ✔@astros To make room for Duffy on the 40-man roster, the #Astros have placed RHP Scott Feldman on the 60-day DL. 2:57 PM - 14 Sep 2015 15 15 Retweets 24 24 favorites
It will be interesting how Duffy's swing transitions to the MLB pitching. We can all sit here and say, it can't get worse than Carter, but AAA mashers constantly take a few season's to catch up to the nasty combination of seasoned ML pitchers.... If Duffy can help, it will be awesome! As, it's been said by a few, Duffy was still going to have to be placed on the 40 man roster before the Rule 5 draft, might as well see what the Astros have in him now! He might surprise us a bit.
Duffy can never get a hit and strikeout in every plate appearance he has.... and it still won't be worse than Carter spending the entire year on the 25 man roster robbing the team of $4 million dollars.
