I fell asleep watching g episode 1 last night. It’s sad. Season 1 I think was the best of all the marvel season 1s. Or one of the best. To be fair a lot of them had solid season 1s. In JJ case, maybe Tennant just elevated everything. Probably true.
I finished it, but it was 1 of those “well I’ve already seen half the season, might as well just finish the whole thing”
It was about as good as Breaking Bad + True Detective season 1 combined - Breaking Bad - True Detective season 1 + Season 2 Jessica Jones.
I just finished it. It starts out pretty slow through the first 6 episodes. Some of the side story lines were distracting from the main story line and it sometimes loses focus of what was most important with the story. A lot of the reviews have only seen the first 6-8 episodes. But, it really picks up in the last few episodes. They should have made it have less then 13 episodes imo. Overall, it's not as good as the first season but not as bad as the 2nd season, just somewhere in between.
Through about 7 episodes. It is definitely getting better, just because there is a pace to the story... That said... Spoiler I can't get past the obvious. The two main female leads are bickering about whether or not it was ok to kill Jessica's mom because she was a mass murderer. Yet... they're a-ok with debating endlessly about what to do with the new serial killer bad guy?? Just kill the f'ing guy. Not complicated.
I watched the entire thing 6/10 not as good as S1, but definitely better than S2...season should’ve been like 10 episodes max instead of 13

agreed that the love story was bad, but I do really like Carrie-Ann Moss as Hogarth...I feel like every time she pops up on screen the episode instantly gets better
