I have brought up his name before as he was reportedly being shopped by Philadelphia over the offseason. He really stunk it up last season, but his first season in the big leagues was quite impressive. Byrd was highly touted coming up through the minor league ranks with Philadelphia and for good reason. He has all the tools you could ask of a star center fielder. He is now behind Kenny Lofton in Philadelphia and may still be available...
