The loss also drops the Rockets to the 9th seed behind the idle Nuggets. Grizzlies also won. It appears that the Clippers, Mavs and Grizzlies may be starting to separate from the teams fighting for the last two playoff spots. Suns lost at home and now go on a tough stretch with 8 of the next 9 on the road, and 7 against WC playoffs teams or those battling for #8. They have played well against those teams lately, but most of those games were at home. Will obviously make or break their playoff chances, just like the stretch of games the Rockets are about to go on. Both Denver and Utah have easier schedules in the next few weeks. Thanks, mate. I wish I had time to do this thread again, but life is too damn hectic right now to commit to doing that daily. Things should slow down next season. The kids are getting a bit older, and my wife won't have such a demanding job.
No sweat Scribo. Family comes first and Rockets a close second... unless the Rockets are in the Finals...

Not that it matter. Jazz and Nuggets lost two very winnable games on the road, allowing the Rockets to move back into the 8th spot. That gap between these teams and the Clippers, Mavs and Grizzlies continues to expand which is good news for that draft pick, but it would be nice if the Mavs could separate from them. They all play each other a few times next week which will clear that up some. Suns lost to start out the road trip. They have 2 must wins vs Hornets and @ Kings before a brutal stretch.
Thanks for the thread and update, here are their remaining 13 games : Memphis (3/30) Indiana (4/1) @Chicago (4/2) @Lakers (4/6) @Sacramento (4/8) @Portland (4/9) Utah (4/11) Phoenix (4/13) @Denver (4/15) Denver (4/16) @Dallas (4/18) @New Orleans (4/19) Golden State (4/21) @Miami (4/22) New Orleans (4/26) That looks like a really tough schedule, i dont even understand how some people posted in other threads about possibility of us being 5th or 6th seed. I know its good to think positive but we are short of our starting PG (although Dragic is doing a splendid job as a starter) and our top scorer (Lee needs to be more consistent with scoring). The guys really need to step up if they wanna make the playoffs, i'd be happy with the 8th seed, key games will be the back to back with Denver and please please beat Dallas, i really hate that team, they seem to have our numbers for quite some time.
Games we should win - @Sacremento @Portland Utah Phoenix Denver (one of the two, we get the tiebreaker then) @New Orleans Golden State New Orleans So that's about an 8 - 5 record the rest of the way.
Miami game might be very winnable probably will rest their star with nothing to lose we may catch a break there and play chalmers - james jones - battier - haslem - pittman or something remember last yr they rested the big 3 last 3 games
Oh, nice point. They seem locked into the 2nd seed and should be locked in by that game. It could be a great break for us.
You know your conference is tough when you can move in and out of playoff position without even playing a game.
