If I remember correctly he just sold the team, and the new owner has money to spend.

 

New Orleans is getting robbed blind in this deal. Almost as bad as the Gasol deal. Almost.

Morey needs to get on the phones. We give them our picks, take Okafur's contract ourselves(Okufur could play a lot while we rest Yao during the regular season), and give them their choice of Hill/CBud/Brooks + expiring fillers.

 

Anybody else get the feeling that Rockets aren't really gonna get anything this summer? The Rockets could probably offer a better deal but I get the feeling that Chris Paul wouldn't want to come here, I mean the Magic are contenders. Didn't he say earlier that he wants to win?

I hope this isn't true, because Howard with Paul (if healthy) and a shooter like Lewis....they may never lose. CP3 is the perfect PG to play alongside Dwight.

Paul, although injured for most of last season, is easily top 5 PG in the league still.
