    I honestly don’t know how I feel about this. Still feels like dysfunction everywhere.

    Good, MDA deserves closure whether it’s an extension or a firing. He’s too accomplished to be strung along.

    Let's see what the extension is. If it's a one-year deal then it's still in line with what they wanted in the original negotiations. The buyout (technically) would just be more expensive. I would be surprised if it's a long-term extension.

    Yea that’s true. If it’s a long term extension I’d have a hard time piecing their logic together from the beginning of the off season to now.

    I hope that they are decisive and commit to a direction.

    Smh. Nurse is a rookie head coach that is making adjustment during the game. Inserted Van Fleet to start the second half last night. Old and stubborn Dantoni would never do that!

    I think "Rockets want to win championship" is just a joke. Rockets are NBA laugh stock now.

    MDA will never win championship.

    He never was. That's just the story that was being passed around here. It just occurred to me that if you were to combine the Rockets and Texans organizations you'd have a pretty good version of "Hee Haw".

    Putting in that buyout language was a fluke. We were going to extend him. It was an accident. I’m still trying to figure out who put that buyout language in there. I was positive we were going to be able to. But if I’m going to extend D'Antoni, I expect us to win. - Tilfart, probably

    I'm glad to hear we have a Van Fleet to insert. Didn't he play Austin Rivers a lot more once he saw how effective he was against the Warriors?
