Parsons was decent before injuries hit him. Add playmaking to Prime Parsons and he would have been an all star and justified that max salary. So if Doncic ends up at a Parsons level but healthy and with playmaking he is gonna have a great career ahead of him. Some people always want to look for the homeruns but the reality is 99% of high ceiling players fail that's why the top stars like Lebron spend decades before being replaced.

Doncic looks great he has a high floor and shows flashes of potential here and there. At the very worst he is gonna be at Matt Barnes level at best...who knows? Dude's only 19 the sky's the limit for him.

You can be cynical all you want. If he wanted easy money, Luka would follow his dad who was a no good (well he still is). The fact that he sided with his mom tells you enough about his character.

He received a hefty sum of money in three years he's been playing as a pro in Real and it didn't change him. The only thing I'm worried about is his eating habits and too much Fortnite playing.

Fat boy has daddy issues and is going to get paid well by Cuban.

Well at least he has a backup plan as a career Fornite gamer, so hard to feel sorry for this Mavs player.

Wow trolls pile up fast in this thread. I guess some people have to bring others' excitement down so they feel a little better about themselves.

Enjoyed watching him play. Definitely wasn’t expecting him to be this far along.

Let's hope that hideous colored car is not his.

Just as I suspected, he is into flashy things. Once the fatboy gets that fat contract, its all over.

Tell me about it. Some basketball casuals coming in from the football board and acting like they know things.

Luka Doncic is similar to Drazen Petrovic.
Drazen Petrovic and Mahmoud Abdul Rauf would be so perfect in today's NBA, they were ahead of their time.
Drazen Petrovic and Mahmoud Abdul Rauf were the only 2 players Michael Jordan cannot guard in the 90s.
    They were that special.

What? Doncic is already at Parsons level when Parsons was in his 3rd year in the NBA. At that point Parsons was 24/25. Doncic right now is 19 years old, so 5 years younger than Pasrons was and just as good. This comparison is an insult.
