Tough first game for Doncic but he shows a lot of promise. Kind of sucks that his first game in the NBA and Trevor Ariza is the one guarding him lol.
All of the strengths seemed like his strengths, and all the weaknesses were clear weaknesses. He's smart, and young, so really high floor. I'm still not sold 100% on the ceiling, so we shall see.
No shame on Luka, he got defended almost all the time by 3Za who is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the NBA. And again, all Luka has to do is be better than Bagley III and Trae Youngbtp justify his draft pick. Pretty sure almost everyone agrees he is better than those two.
He's fluid enough to be very effective. He has obvious limitations on defense. Nobody cares about that now.
He's obviously a good offensive player but at least 11-12 points last night were on wide open set shots (early in the game). No clue what the pups were doing at that point. Thibs may have lost his team already after all the Jimmy Butler mess.

Parsons loves the money and fame. Luka loves the game. Huge difference, which I'm sure will differentiate their careers.
