These shoes look really good (think many people here are hating because it's the Ball family), but the price tag is idiotic. Who the hell buys 500$ shoes from a guy that isn't even in the NBA yet? 500$ would even be terrible for Nike and Jordan.
I agree, I'm not much into wearing basketball shoes but these actually look good. ESPN is running this villainous narrative about Lavar Ball that's steering a lot of the negative opinions. He may be a loud mouth that says dumb things but I applaud him for his ability to market his sons and his brand. I also like that he has challenged the current system run by the big name brands. Would I pay $500 for them? No, but I'm not going to hate on the Ball family for trying to do things their own way.

He's spending nothing on advertising because espn and social media is doing it for him, and he's not fronting any costs on the shoes. All profit and we are taking about it
We'll see, I just can't see that many people buying products from his brand. Netting a deal with one of the big companies would've immediately made them millionaires and secured their future. Banking on an undrafted guy to sell thousands of shoes seems like a terrible gamble to me, especially as I don't see him having much upside or star appeal.
