Doesn't matter what lane you are in. Plus, when you go the speed linit, in the slow than and everybody is passing you like you are sitting still, and weaving in and out of traffic. Man, houston has terrible drivers. And it is not just one driver either it's like 95% tailgaters and aggressive drivers. I can't believe anybody here would defend houston drivers. houston drivers are so bad.
I do have to commend the white car for the use of his turn signal as he went onto the freeway to pursue the truck. My faith in Houston drivers is restored.
Couldn't tell if the black guys were driving a Benzo or a Hyundai..makes a big difference on how I would react to that hit and run at the end.
I wonder if road rage is statistically correlated to what people listen to? AM radio? Sports talk? News? Creed?
Driverless cars can put an end to all of this idiocy. Humans make bad decisions naturally. Give them complete control of something as dangerous as a car, and it's no surprise that it is one of the most damaging and deadly devices out there.
Been saying this forever. We take for granted and, by and large block out of our minds, how insanely dangerous driving is. People are stupid. You are entrusting thousands of strangers with your life daily. A ton of metal per person zipping around at 60+ mph in close quarters. And throw in texting while driving and other distractions. Cars could be safer - much safer (think NASCAR/Hans device type ****) - and injuries and casualties could be minimized considerably, but safety comes at a price too steep to make sense for manufacturers.
Yep, all people have to do is give up their right to drive... which isn't really a right. I'd expect significant brush-back... which could lead to a compromise that those who choose to take control on their own face significant premium increases... along with fines/jail time if they actually are at fault for an accident. Would be interesting to see how much stress is actually intercalated with ones daily commute... and how things may literally be happier/better if people didn't have to worry as much about it.
I don't think there is enough there for anyone to reasonable be charged with attempted man slaughter. All will very likely be charged with disorderly conduct and probably charged with assault and certainly the guy in the truck should be charged with willful damage of personal property which could put him in prison for up to 5 years.
