Who do I think will win or who do I want to win?

I'm not sure who I think will win. Rubio is the one I want to win...or possibly Christie. Primarily because they aren't complete idiots and could get some things done with Democrats if elected.

Kasich, but I know he won't make it out of the primary because he's too moderate.*

    Trump and Carson are nuts

    Fiorina doesn't have the experience

The rest are OK I guess

Kasich/Rubio combo is my ideal choice. Doubt it'll happen.

It's really strange being a Republican these days I would imagine. On the one hand you certainly don't agree with Democratic candidates and ideas. On the other hand you have many candidates that are crazy, have a tenuous grasp on reality, or are willing to forgo the principles that this nation was built on.

And the candidates that seem the most far out there and extreme are the ones that are doing the best.

I can't imagine being in that position. Best of luck to you all.

I vote both sides of the aisle. If the Republicans nominate Rubio, I'd listen closely. If it's Trump or Carson I'll vote for nearly anyone the Dems put up.

I didn't participate in the poll because it said "likely Republican voter"...given poll numbers so far, it doesn't appear likely I'll be voting R.

Not a troll post, but a serious thought I had. I have friends and family that are GOP voters, and don't support crazy candidates. They have always been thoughtful voters who had a different idea of how to run the govt. than I have had.

I know they are bothered by the choice. I was just trying to put myself in their shoes.

If you don't like my posts, feel free to not to respond to them, kiddo.

Coming in and calling candidates "crazy" is an unhelpful, subjective troll post.

If I can have a folksy drink with the candidate and talk some eggball, then surely he's qualified to hold our thermonuclear launch codes and be the leader of one of only two political parties.

I don't want a folksy drink, but I think trump can throw one helluva sex orgy.

The only 3 that are even worth a glance are Rubio, Kasich and Paul.

Once you look closer, Kasich is the only one even remotely suitable, but he will never make it through the primaries.

If the Republicans actually cared about winning the general election they would nominate Kasich.

But nah, his crazy ideas of only cutting the top tax bracket to 28% and not going back on the Iran deal on day 1 in office are just too left wing. He even admits that the Iraq war was a mistake plus he doesn't insult others and alienate enough people, how did he even get the invite to the clown show to begin with? He's probably a secret liberal.
