I absolutely love the idea of LeBron to Houston, but I'd hate to lose Gordon and Tucker.

Could we do what we did with the CP3 deal, and trade for LeBron if he opts in and tells CLE he will only accept a deal to HOU or he doesn't opt in?

I know the big issue is getting enough assets to get to his salary, Ryno is obvious. I don't see Trevor going anywhere, he's too close to paul, and isn't tucker friends with paul too? Also hope we can keep capela and mba moute

For Lebron and a big 3 of Paul, Harden, Lebron?

I'd send half my family to Cleveland. I'd buy Gordon and Tucker's plane tickets.

That us exactly what the Rockets intend to do but to trade for LBJ you need Ryno and either Tucker or EGo to trade and likely it requires EGo to make it work.

Don’t look now, but the Cavs are 2-4 since the break.

Because they got younger and more athletic, but they're still a bad defensive team. Jettisoning Isaiah Thomas didn't fix that.

You'd trade half your team for a guy who'll only commit for 1 or possibly 2 seasons?

All that kid needs is the athletic genes and height to come in.

He is insanely skilled for his age. Good lawd.

Easily the best kid of a player I have seen in some time.

Sure, how long do you think our window for contending is with CP3? He's not young. EGo's contract is only for two more seasons anyway so what exactly are we giving up? This is a bigger upgrade than even CP3 over Bev and Lou. And CP3 isn't even under contract after this year, we took a chance it would work out because it's freaking CP3.

Lebron in Houston next to Cp3 and Harden would be insane. Think Draymon on steroids next to bizarro KD (Harden) and Steph (CP3). You somehow keep Gordon to be your Klay Thompson light and this team would be straight up scary. Side note: I hope we could keep Capela, but if DeAndre came this way instead, that would be a win. Gotta love the hometown guys.

    Ally hypothetical...

If we have to lose all our depth for Lebron I don't know if it is worth it. GS got KD but kept iggy, livingston, and added west.

I don't know why people keep with that narrative .... Its been pointed out multiple times in this thread and several others that the Rockets wont have to give up "all their depth" to make the money work to bring him in - All they have to give up is Ryan Anderson and EG (or Tucker). They can keep literally everyone else.

I guess Lebron started the whole Superfriends however the Big 3 was already a thing decades ago. Lakers had an old Big 4 run down by a lesser Big 5 if you will.

Won't stop with Lebron and Houston. On the contrary, it will thrive again.

he said lesser big 5 and they had a starting lineup where every player was probably top 40.

Its not established fact. Its like a echo chamber in here. If Cleveland takes back salary they will be paying like 100+ mil in luxury tax. If I am losing lebron no chance in hell I am doing that.
