Wow ... I guess the ">" symbol has changed meaning since I took math.

I'm unfamiliar with how this will work, but when will the actual sentencing take place?

no doubt about it. but every jury is different.

They were right. Lay was convicted on all 6 charges, and Skilling was convicted on more than 16 charges.

No, the ">" symbol still means what it stands for.

I am a little concerned about what kind of math education you've received, though.

I'm doing a little I-told-you-so dance for all the people that thought that being a rich republican was going to protect them.

Thadeus, I believe they'll do a second phase of the trial for punishment and the jury can get back to work to determine a prison sentence.

    WTF???

Is there any contradiction on the number of convictions Lay and Skilling received and what the "pundits" [you scornfully put in quotation marks] predicted?

Why do you think bigtexxx put pundits in quotation marks? Didn't he prepare to give them a ho-ho-ho if the verdict turns out to be in Lay and Skilling's favor?

Not sure why you're still swinging at texx there wnes. He said they'd be found guilty...they were...and, I suspect that's the verdict you were hoping for.

    Time to chase another windmill.

Quotation marks do not equal scorn. The pundits were correct.

You've gone off the deep end, wnes.

I didn't follow the actual trial much but all I have to say is that I don't know how a ceo could claim he didn't know what was going on with the company's finances. I know everyone deserves a fair trial, but that's pretty ridiculous.
