I have a Honda mower with Ryobi 40v trimmer and blower. Kind of best of both worlds IMO. The Honda mowers are very reliable and low maintenance - starts on the first pull every time, maybe 2 pulls if it has been sitting for weeks. If I know it's going to sit for a while without use, I turn off the valve to the fuel line and run it until it dies so gas doesn't sit in the fuel line/caroborator (this is probably the #1 cause of gas lawnmower issues).

The Ryobi tools are quality and with the 40V instead of 18 can go multiple uses without charge easily. I'm in a residential lot but I would say larger than average yard.

Definitely need a gas-powered for the woman's bush. Electric won't cut it.

There are two things electric does well for lawn care - blowers and push mowers BUT you need a mower with at least 8 foot pounds of torque for thick grass - 2 brands offer that : EGO and Milwaukee

stay away from electric trimmers unless you have a small lawn

    recommendation
    Milwaukee M18
    EGO models LM2156SP

The Milwaukee has 10 foot pounds of torque and is often used by professionals - The ego does 8.3 - both are well above average including gas comparable choices
