    Anyone know this? I missed the 1st thread, if there was one. That would make a huge difference.

    He was obviously a huge influence in their lives either way. With all due respect to the OP, the kids losing him is a much more serious tragedy in the grand scheme of things than him getting his feelings hurt is. IMO.

    I've been pining away for the same girl since 2004. It doesn't mean I haven't dated since then. But I still love her.

    So me? PROBABLY not the best guy to go to for advice. =D
