I was looking at our last 10 losses, and in all 10 the other team shot better from behind the arc. In our last 10 losses the other teams averaged 38 shot attempts at 40.59% 3PT. In all 10 losses we averaged 35 shot attempts at 29.4%. You just can't expect to be competitive in this league without good 3 PT shooting, and especially when some of the worst % players often take the majority of those shots. I am all in for signing a great 3PT shooter after next year, and replacing a player or two in our starting lineup if things don't change. I'd rather do it at the end of this season, but I'm hoping our guys improve, and don't see any advantage of trading guys on rookie contracts. I don't expect to make the playoffs next year if our 3PT shooting doesn't get much better.
