He just lost all of his credibility.

The sad thing is that people will be stupid enough to vote Kobe as an all-star starter because they only look at this ppg, and they won't care that he will need 35-40 shots for 30 points every game.

It's amazing that such a successful and generally intelligent man can say such stupid stuff.

The Kobe MVP tweet is ridiculous, but he did have some more to say:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I went to the Heat/Rockets game last night and both teams are legitimate championship contenders.</p>&mdash; Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) <a href="https://twitter.com/MagicJohnson/status/530076430705909760">November 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

    <blockquoteclass="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I definitely got a chance to watch 4 early MVP candidates play in Harden, Howard, Wade and Bosh!</p>&mdash; Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) <a href="https://twitter.com/MagicJohnson/status/530077802721460224">November 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script asyncsrc="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

    He also mentions:

<blockquoteclass="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Other early MVP candidates are Wall, LaMarcusAldridge, Tony Parker &amp; Dirk. When Westbrook &amp; Durant get back they will be in the mix also.</p>&mdash; Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) <a href="https://twitter.com/MagicJohnson/status/530082734207954944">November 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script asyncsrc="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

So virtually every NBA all star is an early MVP candidate to Magic at this point.

Was at the lakers game in LA last night

Kobe looked great, and it was great going to a game cheering against the home team.

The oddest part were the consistent M V P chants every time he took foul shots. I was like you guys haven't won a game.....lol

But it's not saying much they chanted the same for Lin in Taiwanese

looks like Erving forgot to take his meds. Keep slobbing on kobe's knob Magic, that's how you got in trouble in the first place.

what i like about magic is even after all these years he's still like a kid in a candy shop when it comes to basketball.

Yeah his analysis is lousy, but it comes from such exuberance.

NY would be insane to give up Hardaway, Shump, 1st and the corpse of Amare for a couple years of Kobe.
