Lakers want Rick Adelman

    Adelman will join the Lakers right as they literally implode and Kobe proceeds to fall off a cliff when it comes to productivity.

    I don't see why he would do this.

    why would Adelman want to coach a player who is way past his prime but still retains his MJ ego, that would be hell for a coach

    this would be a perfect fit, with kobe getting older, and rick being a master for being able to get high percentage easy shots, this should really fit with their team getting older and evolving. IF they can keep a strong defensive presence, you are taking a genius offensive mind in adelman and pairing him with some of the highest offensive awareness players in the lakers, should be a force

    How could you the 1991 series, as well?

    1992 Portland Trailblazers actually beat the Lakers in the playoffs, though.
