Lack of media coverage

Monday was post championship series stuff and the WS doesn’t start until Friday.. Tuesday was always probably going to be the slowest day for WS coverage. It’ll probably pick up more the closer we get with predictions/match up analysis.

 

Tony Kornheiser said it best - It is criminal that the World Series is the same timing as NFL Games.

I've seen a number of profiles on the Astros and Phillies on MLB TV as well as ESPN. THere was a front page story on Mattress Mack on the ESPN website yesterday.

CBS, Sports Illustrated and other sites have predictions and stories.

 

I'm seeing tons of stuff. I just posted in the Playoffs watch thread some stuff from Stephen A Smith and MLB network.

Although I don’t think postseason track record means all that much for most hitters. I’ve seen too many 1st timers destroy the ball. Look what just happened to Altuve. It’s all about who’s hot at the time and seeing the ball well.

 

The Astros will need to be patient at the plate and barrel up the mistakes. Force them to throw strikes. Get into that pen.

 

What does this mean? The World Series is avoiding Sundays and Thursday. Except for Monday, they are doing it on the non-NFL days.

I hate that there is a game on Halloween.

I have seen and heard more coverage about Judge's imminent departure from New York than about the World Series. But Yankee tears are delicious.
