You have to look at Ennis, Harden, and almost the entire team but PJ and Chris.

Ennis defensively is a huge drop off. This guy is a 3rd stringer on Detroit, Memphis, Miami, etc. But is playing 30 mins plus as our main D guy. Just an outright terrible decision. At best, he's a 10th man that gets 10-15mpg when we play back to backs.

Then Hardens defense is still really bad on the perimeter, really bad. It's bad to watch. I think the best move is actually keeping him inside and PJ outside on D. Let PJ guard other teams best player, like we have for the games Eric starts.

We still need a 3/D swing man, a legit backup C and another combo forward. And above all, health. But really someone better and more reliable than Nene, all he does now is foul. We need someone like Willie Reed or even Noah Vonleh. An athlete 6'10 or so that's physical for 15-20mpg instead of Nene. A combo forward like the Morris twins or Mike Scott, then a 3/D guy. Austin and Ennis become 10-11 man's whn we play b2b, injuries and rest. And Gordon goes back to super sub.

Until we address those issues, our defense will remain shitty.

I had hope that the coaching staff could mold Ennis to be similar to Moute at least. But he has a serious lack of agility that you wouldn't expect from someone with his build. Very disappointing.

Last year we had the best defensive rebounding squad around this time of year. This year we're almost at the bottom.

    1) Ennis runs out all the time, admirable, but the exact opposite of TA helping crash the boards.

    2) We play at one of the slowest paces in the league, why don't we have 5 guys crashing the D boards if we aren't going to run and gun anyways?

    3) PJ is a great rebounder for a 3, but moderate at best as a 4 or 5. Not enough bounce.

    4) I think that when this is fixed, our D is fixed. Can't rebound when teams constantly pull your only rebounder out to the 3 point line on switches.

    That's the big issue.
